Have you considered that the DJ is probably the most important decision that you will make for your event? Think about it. Walk through the halls of a major hotel sometime when there are several events going on. We do, and here’s what we see. If the DJ is good, the dance floor is full and guests are having a great time. If the DJ is bad, guests are milling about in the halls, or worse, heading for the door! Forget the food, the flowers, the cake, etc...it’s the DJ that makes or breaks the party!
What do you and your friends remember most about weddings or similar functions that you go to? How tasty the chicken was? The amazing color of purple in the flowers? The incredible cake? Those are parts of the day, but what everyone is left talking about for months (years?) to come is the dancing, the music, the fun you had!!!
We've
worked wedding receptions held practically
in a barn with no decorations that were incredible
parties. People danced all night and had big
fun. On the other hand, there are events held
at the finest establishments, with the finest
decor, food, etc., that were absolute disasters
because the entertainment was bad. People
can’t wait to say their good-byes and
get out the door.
This is not a sales pitch, it’s simple facts. Trust us, after twenty-plus years in this business, we know. Yet here’s what never ceases to amaze us. Statistics say that the average wedding & wedding reception in the Denver-Metro area runs somewhere in the $20,000-$30,000 range, start-to-finish. Still, every day, we get brides calling (grooms, usually) trying to cut corners and save money on their DJ. Does it make sense to host a $30,000 party and save $100 on the DJ...the guy (or girl) who holds the success or failure of your wedding reception in the balance?

Save money somewhere else. That's what we tell friends and family members who are planning weddings. No one will notice $100 saved on flowers, for instance. On the other hand, no one will forget the bad wedding DJ that saved you $100. You’ll be reliving that story for the rest of your life. Almost every wedding DJ horror story starts off with, “...well, we saved a little money and hired XYZ DJs...” Okay, hopefully we’ve convinced you about the importance of finding a great DJ. So the next question is what makes A Music Plus so special? What is it about A Music Plus that has practically every major entertainment agency in the area referring us (the industry vendors know who is the best); that is included on the preferred vendors list of most every caterer and banquet facility in town?
Here's the secret. There is
no one thing...it’s the sum of all the
little things. (If A Music Plus employees
had a dollar for every time they've heard
owner Pat Bruno say that...) Seriously, though,
it’s true. So “add up” these
little things and see if you don’t conclude
that A Music Plus is one great DJ service:
The company attitude, from the
top down, is that we only get one chance to
make an event right. Each and every event
we do is treated like one of our own. We are
a full-time company. Call us any day or just
stop by. No phone tag the week of your event,
no difficulties trying to schedule appointments
or get answers about your event.
We have a real office and a real warehouse. No meetings with your DJ at your home or some coffee shop. Stop by anytime and meet with one of our event professionals and see and hear our sound equipment. Being the best entertainment service available is all we do. We don't try to be a photography company/ DJ/ videographer...whatever. We send great DJs playing great music to events. Someone once said focus on one thing and be the best at it. That's our sole aim. We hire great people. Then we train them well. We have got the most comprehensive DJ training program in the region. We’ve had some DJs train for six months before they worked an event alone. The people here make A Music Plus special. Call and talk to one of them. We guarantee that you will get a good feeling, no matter who you talk to. We treat our employees well. They are well-paid and love working for A Music Plus. Just ask them. We have DJs on staff that have been working, part-time, for over ten years. No one sticks with a part-time job that long unless they love the company and their job. DJs that love their job do a great job for you. Our DJs are trained to be flexible and accommodating to your wishes. Your event is about you, not them. We're there to make you look good. We are super-flexible. While we are happy to offer suggestions, we won't tell you what you can or can't do or have at your event. (Sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised...) We have been in business since 1985, and have performed at over 15,000 events. That's a lot of experience on your side. We have a great reputation (and we work hard to live up to it). Ask your other vendors. You will be hard-pressed to find a special events vendor that has anything but praise for A Music Plus. We staff a full-time event coordinator. She is available to help you plan every detail of your day. Each week she calls every one of our clients to confirm every last detail. She also calls the facility hosting the event to confirm details with them. Our coordinator's job is to worry about every detail so you don't have to. We staff a full-time equipment technician. He goes through each piece of equipment every week, testing it, cleaning it and making sure it is 100% ready to go before your wedding. He even cleans our CDs to minimize the chance of them skipping at your wedding. We’ve talked with other DJ owners who proudly claim to maintenance their equipment every six months (whether it needs it or not, I guess). We keep a DJ and sound system on call in the event of an emergency. If your DJ gets sick, gets in an accident...whatever...another DJ is on the way. We have a 24-hour emergency answering service. If you have an emergency you don't get voice mail; you get a live person who will help you. We staff up to forty or more DJs. This gives us tremendous flexibility when scheduling the right DJ for your event. We have young & old, male, female, bilingual...DJs who specialize in certain types of music and DJs with varying personalities. If you need a specific type of DJ, we probably have him or her on our staff! We provide you with a free comprehensive planning guide to help you plan the details of your event. Most clients tell us that their planner truly helped them get organized and go into their event relaxed and (relatively) worry-free. We observe our DJs every week. One staff member from the office randomly visits several events to make note of the DJ's performance and to make sure our clients are happy. Then we follow up with the DJ to make suggestions for improvement. We regularly meet with our DJs one-on-one every to do a comprehensive performance review. We're always pushing our DJs to improve their skills. We follow-up with every client to make sure their event was perfect. We are always looking for suggestions on how to improve our service. Every year we take our full-time staff on a retreat, where we analyze every facet of the company, searching for ways to improve. By now you get the picture. We’ve got a great service and we’re proud of our work. Give us a call if we can answer any questions or help you in any way. We would love to add you to our list of thousands of ecstatic clients!
