I had heard some horrible stories about DJ services in the past, but A Music Plus definitely proved that there are good ones out there! You were the easiest of all our wedding vendors to work with. Any time I had a question I received a very quick response. We were also very impressed with our DJ. He actually had all of our guests up and dancing (and this being at an afternoon reception)! I had many guests comment on how they'd never seen so many people up dancing at a reception before and they all had such a great time. I would recommend A Music Plus to any of my friends looking for a DJ in the future!

Inclement Weather/
Heroic Efforts

Coming through for you under the best of circumstances is easy. What happens at A Music Plus when the weather turns ugly?

Holiday Blizzard of 2006

Wednesday, December 20, 2006. A storm settles over Denver and dumps 2-3 feet of snow in the metro area. By day’s end, most businesses have closed and residents struggle to get home and hunker down for the evening.

First thing next morning, two A Music Plus office managers work their way to our office where they dig their way in and begin making phone calls. Every single client and event facility is called to verify if the scheduled event is still taking place. Most are, a few reschedule for the next week and a couple of companies choose to just cancel their event. But each and every bride under A Music Plus’ care is called and reassured that their DJ will be at their event on time.

Most businesses didn’t even open on Thursday, but A Music Plus was fully operational and had every client confirmed by noon.

In the end, A Music Plus performed at all of the scheduled events, with every DJ on time and ready to keep guests dancing all night.

Freak October Storm

Saturday, October 25, 1997. Denver is buried under two feet of drifting snow. To most

residents it is an inconvenience. To anyone who has scheduled a function, it is their worst nightmare. Many service vendors made the decision to shut down for the weekend. At A Music Plus, leaving their clients without entertainment was never an option.

“When we saw the piles of snow, we looked at each other and said, 'Let's get to work!'” said company owner and president Pat Bruno. “We had brides and grooms from out of state who had their family and friends already staying at the hotel that was hosting their wedding and/or reception. They needed music...this was their one and only wedding day.”

The staff at A Music Plus began digging out their vehicles and their dispatching site at 8:00am. Every available 4-wheel drive was rounded up and each client, hosting facility and DJ was called to confirm that the event was taking place and to reassure the client that their DJ would be there. By 11:00am, A Music Plus was performing their first scheduled reception, at the Doubletree Hotel in Westminster. The bride from the evening wedding at the hotel asked the A Music Plus DJ to stay for her reception since her DJ had told her he wasn't coming. One wedding saved.

By day's end, A Music Plus had performed for all eight of their clients and had picked up

three events from people who had their DJ no-show. “It was simply a question of how badly one wanted to be there for their client,” says Bruno. “It was hard work, getting the snow removed and everyone coordinated and on their way...we even had to go pick up and deliver some DJs to their events, but we felt an obligation to our customers. It was worth it to see how happy the brides and grooms were when we arrived!”

If A Music Plus comes through under such extreme conditions, imagine what we will do for you under normal circumstances!
