Here at A Music Plus, we have played countless first dance songs. There is something so special about the first dance of a newly wedded couple, and we love to provide their perfect song as they dance their way into happily ever after.
While the first dance can be a tear-jerking moment for all of us, sometimes the song selection elicits a different emotion entirely.
One of the most unusual first dance songs we’ve seen at A Music Plus is Lips Of An Angel by Hinder. For those who are unfamiliar, this song is about being “tempted by the fruit of another,” which, in our expert opinion, is probably a song you don’t want played at your wedding.
Choosing Lips Of An Angel as a first dance means one of two things to us:
1) your relationship started as an affair, then led to matrimony
or
2) you are tempted to have an affair despite it being your wedding day.
We would hope for neither, but if this is the song you truly desire for your first dance song (like the couple who asked for it), we will play it!
Another unusual and somewhat comical first dance song is Love Bites by Def Leppard. “If you’ve got love in your sights, watch out, love bites, yes it does, it will be hell.” Now that’s a romantic love anthem if we’ve ever heard one…not! But again, if this is the song you desire, we will play it and watch you dance your hearts out!
